Bikes on holiday

Do any forum members take their bikes on holiday with them? Where are you taking them?
I’ll kick off.
I’m off to Parga on Sunday with my wife and daughter and because I’m doing a triathlon in September I’m taking my Boardman so I can get out for an hour in the mornings.

Taking mine to Abruzzo next month, via Lake Como (Madonna del Ghisallo and Muro di Sormano!) and then the Stelvio on the return, weather permitting  :?
Will get several climbs of the Blockhaus in whilst in Abruzzo, hopefully that will give me the legs for the Stelvio, as I sure as hell don't have them yet! Plus the beautiful new cycle path along the coast.0 -
I've taken mine to Como loads, there are two crappy MTBs in the garage but no road bikes.
I've driven and flown as well as hired bikes whilst being out there. Cost wise if you're hiring a top end bike then taking your own works out cheaper, especially if you want to do a few days over two weeks.
Plus it's your own bike.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
