Front three have an incentive to keep the chases away, as Stuyven is a much faster finisher.

This looks another fascinating run into the finish. Narrow, twisting roads.
Impey being made to do all the work.

    Than Impey?
Sometimes he is, sometimes he isn't. Silvan Dillier at the Giro?

Bardet does his dutiful attack, followed by Bennett and Porte.

Ineos bringing it back. Bennett looks strong.

    Impey takes it

Benoot had no chance in the sprint.

    Very easy for Impey.
Matt White should be good value, post stage.

Brought back with disdain, Bardet won't be happy that Bennett and Porte ruined his moment.

As I feared and expected somewhat my PTP pick Cummings did absolutely nothing. Wonder what his actual role is on a team.

Fun stage otherwise. Had a bit of a one day classic feel to it.

Up to fourth on Lanterne Rouge; Di Data chasing anything going in an attempt to get some good news.
  • Good cycling area. Worth a jaunt. Not really been aware of it before
