Selling your bike

Does anyone know of decent places to sell best bike?

My knee has packed up to the point that riding with any conviction is now too painful. I plan on keeping one of my older bikes if things improve but I may as well move my best bikes on while they are worth something.

Clearly there is the classified section on here and eBay, but are there any others worth considering?

    The two you mentioned are probably the best.

    Best time to list on Ebay is when they have the £1 sellers fee promotion.

    Local cycling groups on Facebook are usually a good place to sell, especially if you don't want to post the bike. I tend to find complete bikes on Ebay don't sell well if they are collection only.

    Local facebook cycling buy/sell groups and also Facebook Marketplace are good resources. But it's so easy to show interest on there, you do end up with lots of virtual tyre-kickers.

    Sold all of my old bikes on eBay, cash on collection and avoided fees!
