How do folks, thinking of buying a Corky beam rear view mirror, anybody on the forum got one?Are they any good?

First rule of the forum - any new safety initiatives must be dismissed as crap.
Those mirrors IMO look quite slick (in relative terms) - seem a bit pricey for what they are.0 -
id be half tempted for the commuter bike to be honest, rather expensive for what it is though, but can you really put a price on safety? (probably)0

Looks like they would vibrate a lot with that ball/socket joint and keep flopping down after a while on our roads. I'd be more inclined to get one of these:

I have one of these and it is superb, clear, vibration free and doesn't scratch. By far the best cycling accessory I have.

To be truthful i don't like extra stuff on my road bike apart from bottle/ bottle cages. I don't bother taking tool wedgie on a short ride.It's i don't like taking that quick glance over my right shoulder. I'd much prefer taking a longer look in a mirror if you see what i mean.0
