Tom Dumoulin will not ride the tour de france as he feels his condition is just not good enough.

    Yes he was never going to be competitive given what he said about his knee still troubling him. Huge shame for him as an in form Dumoulin would have been a strongish favourite given the absence or mixed form of other top riders.

    needs time away from the bike and to sort that knee knack out. agree that he'd be a favourite/ podium if he were 100%
