Hi,
Where can I find a table to compare wheel rim sizes with tyre sizes? - Given I use rim brakes I assume I measure the rims on the inside? - TIA

Cheers,
Jim

All rim widths are internal. For what fits what, see this from Schwalbe:

    https://www.schwalbe.com/en/reifenmasse.html

When the page opens, click on "which tyre fits which rim". Page down a bit to get to the table. All measurements are in mm. So for example, a 19mm rim will suit tyres of width 28mm-62mm (1.1" - 2.4").

But be sensible! From personal experience a lightweight 2.4" tyre squirms under cornering on a 19mm rim. If you are going to extremes, you may need higher pressure than you might normally use.
