Seat post / saddle for Specialized Globe bike

Hi, I have a Specialized Globe road bike. I have bought a new saddle for it:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Comfortable-Breathable-Mountain-Suitable-Spinning/dp/B07HFTNCC9
which has a conventional clamp for a seat post.
The Specialized Globe seat post is splined and the seat attaches with some kind of fitting I haven't seen before, fastened by an Allen screw.
Do you think I could fit the new seat to this kind of post, or would I be better off buying a gel seat cover for the old (Specialized) seat and returning the new one?

If your seatpost is the standard type that nearly all modern bikes use like this

then that saddle youve bought wont fit it. you could buy a new seatpost like this one
https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Oxford-Straigh ... _88692.htm
But personally Id return that saddle and get a more suitable one for the bike with saddle rails such as

I know youve not asked for my opinion but I would like to add that dont expect more cushioned = more comfortable. Theres plenty of information about choosing the right saddle online so Ill leave that to you0 -
I'm fairly certain that you can just remove the mounting clamp from your new saddle and mount the saddle on your current seatpost. Just have a look at how your old saddle is mounted and it will make sense.0

I'm pretty sure the saddle rails are a different width apart so wouldn't work0

Thank you for your replies. I will send the saddle back and look at the alternative you suggested.0
