Di2 onto a canyon endurace mechanical frame

Hello,
I’m want to put a Di2 group set onto my canyon endurace mechanical frame (disc). Some say you can some say you can’t but no one has said why. I was hoping someone on here has done it and could enlighten me. Many thanks

    Well I have a Canyon Endurace CF 9.0 Di2 and got it from new in 2017 so unless Canyon have completely changed the frames I would think be the same as you have so I can't se why you cannot convert a mechanical to Di2. What year is your bike?

    2017 but it came with mechanical frameset so there is no dedicated FD hole for the wiring (although I can’t see why you can’t chase the wiring through the cable hole?) also there are more holes in the down tube in my mechanical frame and I don’t know how hard it’d be to fit the battery as the seat tube is some fancy split thing. The frames are definitely different I was hoping someone in here had done the retrofit. Many thanks for your response though
