Garmin Edge 500

Hi all.

My Garmin is a little old now, but until the last 2 rides it has been pretty much faultless.

I uploaded a course, and took off to ride the course and the Edge constantly auto paused, I turned the auto pause off nd no speed or distance was being recorded.

I deleted the course and rode again today - but same problem.

Any ideas on how to put this right please?

Garmin Connect says software is up to date v3.30

    Buy a Wahoo. Probably not the answer you're looking for but the Garmin's start behaving like crap after a while. And every firmware update brings a new set of problems that weren't there before without fixing the issues with the previous firmware.

    Not the answer I was looking for, but thanks anyway - replacement is out of the question, at the moment, with an imminent baby arrival and in the middle of moving house! Nothing ever happens at an easy time does it!! :lol:

    Might just try a full factory reset.
