This may appear a daft question for eBay officianados but I have never had the need to use it....until today when a seller has exactly what I am looking for.

Do I have to be a member of eBay to purchase and do I have to have a Pay Pal account or do business sellers accept credit cards?

Yes.

you need to be a member.

paypal makes things easier, some sellers offer cash on collection or bank cards.

but paypal is pretty good in my experience and easy to set up.
