Fitting ULock on a Cube Nuroad

Hi everybody.
I'm quite new to riding – mostly long commutes with occasional out-of-town rides.
I have Cube Nuroad (2018) and I use Abus 230mm Ulock.
Problem is – I can't find a way to fit it anywhere on the bike.

Default lock holder works well only with round tubes. Top tube on Nuroad is not round.
I tried placing to the side on the back, but it keeps getting in the way.
Are there any nice custom solutions to fit ulock holder on a bicycle like Nuroad?

Hmm, interesting idea, thanks. Although I wanted to put my phone exactly there with QuadLock.
I was hoping to find a way to fit it somehow into the triangle, on the top tube.

How about the one that was underneath it?

Cube Reaction GTC Pro 29 for the lumpy stuff
Cannondale Synapse alloy with 'guards for the winter roads
Fuji Altamira 2.7 for the summer roads
Trek 830 Mountain Track frame turned into a gravel bike - for anywhere & everywhere

This would work only for a very small lock that can fit vertically.
Also it maybe looks nice on the picture, but I bet in real life it will be very flimsy and keep hitting the legs.

I used to leave my lock where I wanted it to be. Works if you only use it to get to one place.

Well, at the moment I just use some external velcro straps and strap it on my luggage carrier. It just takes a lot of time and it's almost impossible to strap the lock strong enough to ensure it makes no sound when riding.
I need a proper ulock holder, ideally somewhere in the triangle, attached to the top tube so it wouldn't get in the way of my water bottle.
Main problem is – top tube is not round, so I can't use the lock holder that came in with the lock. I probably need something custom. Or a way to make the top tube round somehow

Keep it on the luggage rack, put a bit of pipe lagging around the lock to stop it rattling.

pipe lagging on top tube. cable tie lock holder to hat.

lagging will deform inside to fit shape of frame but still stay round on the outside so you can cable tie the lock holder to it.

Good idea. Do you think it would be sturdy enough not to slide?

if its cable tied on tight enough with big phat cable ties then it should be ok.

give it a bash and see what happens - if it all goes wrong just take it off, hit it with a hammer, set fire to it and chuck it in next door's garden.

After checking everything again, I would like to somehow fit ulock to the side of the rack, similar to this https://www.das-radhaus.de/abus-ugh-02-schlosshalter/
Any alternative options to do that? The one behind the link is ridiculously expensive - 75$ for 3 points old holders.
Also would be great if it would have a quick-release functionality
