Spray on Rust Converter?

Whatever you get, make sure that the instructions don't require you to wash it afterwards. I once used a product called Naval Jelly on the inner wings of my car. The product was an acid and it ate through the seams in less than six months. It was called Naval Jelly because it was used on ships, where it was easy to wash off the surplus after it had converted the rust. My surplus was trapped in the seams and was impervious to wash off.
Anyway, cars are supposed to be rust proofed at the factory now and then sealed with chip resistant coating. Why do you need to spray your car's underbody, was it made in the 70's?

That's an odd first post on a mountain biking forum. :?:
It's probably better to ask on a forum for some other form of transport. You know, like, say a car forum.“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”
