Hi folks
Have an unused Fsa chainset 10 speed (n10 ) at home , will this work well with an 11 speed ultegra set up r8000 .? before that there was an FSA one installed with no markings . Normally they have 10 or 10/11 on them to distinguish them

It should work OK.
11 speed chain is externally thinner than 10 speed but it has the same internal dimensions. So 11 speed chain will run fine on a 10 speed ring. An 11 speed double chainset has the rings a tiny bit closer together, but that's the only difference. I'm guessing your R8000 FD will play nicely with the 10 speed chainset.0 -
Thanks - it’s all bb30 but the previous Fsa one worked fine . Perhaps not as smooth as Shimano . Might be worth a punt so .0

In a "blind test" you will not be able to tell one from the other. Well I would not be able to tell but I am the guy who does not know if my wheels spin up quick or whether my bottom bracket is stiff.0
