Wahoo Snap Erg Mode in Zwift with Stages PM as Power Source

When doing ERG Mode workouts in Zwift it's "Relatively Easy" for me to overpower the set wattage (100+ watts) by changing cadence. It feels more like ERG Assist.

Contacting Wahoo, they are advising me to go in lowest (easiest pedalling combo) and not very cadence. This is great for MTB hill climbing specificity,,,But when trying to do Ramp type FTP tests (along with Smo2 FTP test) with the minimal rear wheel speed its hard to keep cadence steady and power steady - power will vary wildly with cadence.

My friend sends me his FIT Files using his Kickr and his power #'s are Rock Solid while mine can flop all over the place in comparison.

Anyone else have this issue with Snap? I have yet to go to my friends and experience his Kickr.

I have a tacx flux and the minimum watts it can do in erg mode in the big ring and about half way down the cassette seems to be about 225 watts at a reasonable cadence. if I stay in an easier gearing erg mode works better

try keeping in the little ring and see if that helps.
