Above is the bike I have, in a size 54.
Now, heres the bike i want:

Im having an issue with choosing between a medium and a small. I dont think theres very much difference, canyon calculator suggests a small and going by the measurements im not sure. Reach is obviously longer as its an aero bike but the stack is shorter.....some measurements suggest small while others say medium. Bear in mind ive never had a bike fit so im only assuming the bike I have is the right size for me, so maybe i should go for the small. Anyone any thoughts? Thanks.

Edit: for an extra bit of insight I'm 5' 8" with an inseam of about 82 cm.

54 Cannondale has a stack of 551mm and Reach of 387mm. Medium Canyon has a stack of 550mm and reach of 397mm. So Stacks are virtually identical and the Reach only differs by 10mm.

I would suggest the Medium Canyon is the nearest fit if you are happy with your position on the Cannondale. If you want to bring the numbers even closer you could fit a 10mm shorter stem to the Canyon

I think both sizes may be ideal depending on your riding preference.
If you like a more aggressive position then go for the small, a more upright position then the medium.
I know a lad who is 6"2 and rides a 54cm dolan purely because it puts him in a aggressive position.
