Purchasing Road Bike via Cycle 2 Work- Max £1000

Hi All,

I was looking to purchase the following bike 'Cube Attain GTC Disc 2018' https://www.paulscycles.co.uk/1400/products/cube-attain-gtc-race-disc-road-bike-2018-greygreen.aspx

Unfortunately there is a cap of £1000 on my company scheme so I'm now looking for alternatives below the limit.

I found the following on Planet Xhttps://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/EBPXPCER7000/planet-x-pro-carbon-evo-shimano-r7000-carbon-road-bike which looks like a good deal.

Does anyone have any experience dealing with Planet X as it would be a mail order purchase.

Any road bike recommendations below a grand would be much appreciated, doesn't have to be this years latest model just looking for a good deal

I was told I couldn't top up the difference, maybe it's a bike shop rule...

Thanks for the recommendation on decathlon, I've got one pretty local to me so can go take a look.
