Brushes for tubular glue - cleaning..?
Is there any easy way to get tubular glue off of brushes..?
I've tried leaving the brush in a jar of acetone and it doesn't work.. Brush still mostly solid days later..
I'd rather avoid synthetic white spirit because the stuff stinks the house out and is pretty toxic, AFAIK. Does meths work?
Or do people use disposable brushes? Not very green though..

Not the answer you want - but white spirit does the job fine. Smell not an issue for me as all my gluing is done in the garage.
I use plumbers/flux brushes, which can be had pretty cheaply in any case..0 -
I use the little plumbers acid flux brush, I do it only a few times a year so I don’t mind chucking them after use. I bought a load quite cheaply on eBay much less faff0

aside from the bristles they are aluminium, i.e. recyclablemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Thanks all, sounds like the plumber's brushes are my best bet..0
