Your Pain Caves

I can’t really see a thread showing what your training rooms look like.
Looking for inspiration as mine is always evolving.
Here is mine now
Looking at the front wall maybe having a printed wallpaper, something like this, shows where the 2 screens will be.
Anyone got similar? or different?

Webboo, I’m not OCD, but you might have me right there. I do go the extra mile
PolderRider, thanks, as you see I don’t really have the space to set up in the garage, hence the spare room.
Pics to re-affirm Webboo’s suspicions:

Do you actually have time to train or go out on your bike, what with all the cleaning up, tidying and polishing you do!0

That looks awesome!
I have to dig my bike out from under junk
Plus got kids, none of our rooms are that tidy0 -

This is mine. I think I've taken cave a bit seriously.....Long and thin, no windows and only one door.
It's the alleyway between my house and the garage next to me.
When we moved in it was just had a roof and the end wall. It was damp and nasty.
Made and put a door on it and added paint, electrics and some insulation.
Measures about 1.5m x 5m long.
I've since change the fan though.

i have cave envy. i never knew it was a thing until i looked in here. Good work the op especially the garage that is OCD in action I like it!
I'm going to have to tidy mine now. And paint And add units and more bikes and tidy my tool chests up0 -
I just train in my garage which is an integral part of my house.
Used to have my pride and joy car in there but sold that years ago and so now I have drawers, shelves, a bike rack, two motorbikes and 3 (soon to be 4) bikes in there. I have a cheapo TV/dvd combo but it's not connected to an aerial so I usually use my iPhone and JAM box Bluetooth for music while on the turbo. Still have plenty of room for both my wife and myself to train at the same time. Using my stepladder as a shoe shelf though.0 -
I'm not interested in a turbo trainer, but that garage gives me something to aspire to! Mine looks like a junk shop that's just been ram-raided.
I also tend to use the ladder as shelving. Which is a royal pain in the @rse when you need to actually use the ladder as I did last week. Took me an extra half an hour finding homes for the 2 years worth of crap it had accumulated.0 -
Now I want to go home and tidy my garage0

I have since painted the floor...Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
My set up. We have a large tandem garage that we can get both cars in, plus give me space for a pain cave.
We have 6 bikes in the garage either hanging on the wall or on turbos. My winter trainer is almost permanently on the turbo and my daughter usually has her Frog 58 set up next to me on an adapted Cycleops turbo. Both turbos can be used either on Zwift or Rouvy with a family membership via BTE connection to the two big screens. I use an iPad linked via an HDMI lead, whilst she uses a Windows PC connection. If she's not on her turbo, I can use the 2nd screen to watch Sky or play some tunes on the PC. The 2nd lead is an ANT+ connection that I haven't gotten around to removing yet from when my daughter had only ANT+ sensors. The floor fan is a bit tired and needs replacing, and there's a wall fan higher up. Both are operated by remote control sockets.
I also have some weights equipment and a workshop area for builds and servicing.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0 -

If you feel a bit inferior I would suggest NOT looking on the trainer road forum at the same topic. Some “caves” are bigger than the village I live inTrainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Built this last week. It a bit cramped and I have to move everything round depending on which activity I want to do.
Sometimes I have share with the cats as well.

as discussed passim ad infinitum, the wires for it come out of the wall there (previous owners of the house) so stuck with that position.thegreatdivide said:Your TV is in the wrong place.

Mine's changed a fair bit since those photos.
Been through several different fan combinations, got a new bigger TV and upgraded the PC.
Also added a fresh air system (fan up by the door which blows through ducting (drain pipe) down to the end where I train).
Also got a dehumidifier and some other bits.0
