Doing this really odd thing called a club ride! Haven’t done one in ages so should be a giggle
Then brunch with some friends and a few jobs before pub time - got to love a bank holiday weekend0 -
Sat here watching Shorty bunny hop over my 1200mm feather edge on her scooter. I taught her in about, ooh- 5 mins but if I vacate this position, she'll try silly manoeuvres.
Today will be mowstly recovering from another rehab ride which was hilly with a stiff, cold headwind.
Too cold on the way out and too warm in the way in with tailwind and sun.
Beach walk later.
Pancakes for lunch.
TdY:
Stage 1: Boring
Stage 2: Boring
Stage 3: Interesting. CCC and INEOS couldn't bag a sweet. Hee hee. Well done obscure Pro Conti team. (Maybe i'll buy the kit). Mind you, GVA is shyte.

Mightily breezy here with a chill that wouldn't be out of place in the west of Scotland. Except I'm in Montpellier. Drinks later..0

wind has dropped so a much easier ride out, though a smidge slower back without the tailwind
seems to have been a while since they cleaned up some of the roads, should you ever find yourself riding on deep picon at 55kph, i can advise that the correct thing to mutter as you gently ease back onto clean tarmac is "HOLY TITS"my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Holy tits batman, I'm axle deep in shyyte!
Arrived in the wisteria clad new forest hotel, got the bikes out of the car, now off for a gentle mooch.0 -
Holy tits Robin, that wind is still chilly and strong.
Rice pudding after dinner. I'll add an extra amount of double cream and nutmeg.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Went for a drive for the hell of it then walked the dog. Very satisfying, a bit like MOTD will be this evening"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

No blob of jam?
No - that's the difference between you and me.hopkinb wrote:Home made rice pud though, send us some?
Oh definitely home made and we ate the lot (skin and all)*.

I'm sitting here wantonly releasing carbon dioxide by burning logs. All the bloody heat goes up the chimney. The stove gets a bit warm, but not warm enough to heat the room. Bloody paleolithic technology.0 -
waddya mean no jam?
what else do you put in it?

Get yourself a decent log burner. We have had ours on for barely 2 hours and i'm on the verge of stripping down to my kaks.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0
