The frame won't be in my hands until next week (waiting for the decals to be painted on the fork) but I just couldn't wait to post a few preliminary photos-

Looks great. But why paint titanium? Doesn't it just add weight?

I wasn't thinking about added weight from the paint. Unpainted titanium leaves a lot to be desired-the look is uninspiring to say the least, and it doesn't motivate me at all.

Here is the frame unpainted so you can see what I'm talking about-

That's fair enough, I actually really like your choice of colours. Looking forward to seeing it built up.

    Cable guide to stop rub?
I like it, think it should make a nice build. Plain ti is good too, thankfully we’re not all the same as that would be really dull.

Yes definiteley the cable guide, same as on all Lynskeys with external cables.

Ben Falcon at Horse Brand Cycles in Brooklyn, New York. Best thing besides the quality of the work and attention to detail is the fact that I did not have to spend money shipping it back and forth. Since I live in NYC the shop is an easy subway ride away.

A couple of things holding up the build-

    1) Enve is taking their sweet time sending the painter the stencils for the fork.

    2) Handlebar issues-purchased the wrong size and had to send them back to Italy. They finally arrived a month and two days later, so who knows how long it will be to get the the correct size back.

    3) Cannot find the saddle I want anywhere. I had my heart set on one of these two by Specialized-

I'm more leaning toward the second one. Frames very black so the first saddle sticks out more. Plus it'll look better if you go black tape.

I was thinking of going with the second saddle and the matching turquoise/light blue handlebar tape, but I cannot find either saddle anywhere.

I even contacted Specialized here in the US and no dice on availability.

Found one place in the US listing them and one Spanish both out of stock, looks like they have gone Sagan crazy with the holographic gumph.

Nice bike, but not keen on the silver groupset, black would suit it a lot more...
