Seemingly trivial things that intrigue you

I'm a little intrigued as to why KG is getting tweets about Italian TV. I'd understand if my mother got such a thing, but Graham is an extremely unItalian name due to the complete confusion the 'h' causes.
Also didn't know Italian TV series' are broadcast in waves.

When it's something intriguing like this, it gets retweeted far and wide.

It's all over Twitter today. Gone viral, it has.

... that they chose this label. The wine's delish, mind you, and under £4.
Sorry about the thumb print.

Dad (back right) has handed over day to day running to his son and nephew who have interesting ideas about where to take the business but can't run to a full marketing team at the moment.

Joking aside, apparently it's a true co-operative (there's still a significant hangover of the strength of the communist/radical politics of the early 20th century). I suppose the crapness of the label and brand identity did catch my eye, to be fair.
The local clairette 'factory' used to be called 'Cave Co-operative de Die' when it was founded in 1950, but changed its name to 'Jaillance' in 2001 precisely for marketing reasons.

Surely red wine is bang on brand for French Communists.

How the guest lists work for this ridiculous "wedding" in India. Also wondering if anyone says no.

Invite family, friends and anyone above whatever fame/power threshold you think gives you kudos. The freeloaders and sychophants in the third group will accept.

Why's the guy in the Skoda Ad left with 2 front wheels: what kind of mechanics do they employ?

Am I allowed to drink beer without watching football this evening?

Yes, but I think beer is necessary to watch the football. 😉
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Thobut, apparently one has to throw one's £10 per pint into the air, if...

That really gets on my nerves, seemed to start in 2016 fairly spontaneously and now it feels like people are just waiting for an opportunity to do it. Then again it’s probably the best thing to do with the likes of Carling or whatever they serve in a fan zone in a plastic cup.

Oh, do people actually do this? How silly. There are times when I am very happy not to be in touch with popular culture.
I'm rather enjoying my 500ml of Exmoor Stag that cost £2. I shall drink every drop.

The train I am on has one of those screens that tells you the next station. It also shows how busy each carriage is using a traffic light coloured train 'map' - but how does it know?

Because of the tracker they put in the Covid jabs of course. I bet you’ll find some supposed empty seats have an unvaccinated person sat in them.

Do you think they could add a geofence to wake me up just before my station when I'm going home drunk?
0 -
I like it but what would be really useful is to have it on the platform before the train arrives.
To be fair, i am just happy that the new trains have toilets and air con.

My phone just autocorrected "car" to "cat".

The cost of vets! I had to take the car for a checkup, the car doesn't like it in the cat either so not fun all round.

Have you ever tried to jump start a cat?

Yep, nightmare.

I was caratonic with rage.

Yes it does Brian, luckily I've never had the car nicked from my cat, a friends was. All this problematic talk of cats has reminded me of that song by caratonia, rrroad rrrage.

Apparently cycle commuting can lower my risk of death by 47%
Forgive me for being pedantic, but I certainly don't feel immortal. Although they do say it's only if you're not hit by a cat.

The new US post-death "May he/she rest in power". What's wrong with a bit of peace?
It's all moot for the deaded person, but what's this new coinage all about?
