Seems there will be little interest here, with Yorkshire looming.
The prologue was won yesterday by the unfancied Jan Tratnik, taking Bahrain's first WT win of the season.
Signs of life from Geraint Thomas, too, who finished 5th.
Today's stage:
Looks quite a tough day, certainly not nailed on for the sprinters and could turn out to be a battle between puncheurs and those with GC aspirations.

Martin was surprisingly highly placed for a short prologue.0

Agreed. Good that he has it in him and he is working hard at jumbo. I think he must be enjoying his mentoring role there.Half man, Half bike0

Yellow jersey has been dropped. All together with 27km to go. Rest of this cat 2, plus another two bumps to go. Probably time to start watching.0
-
Cobrelli and Bevin are probably the quickest of those left after that 2nd cat."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Without having done too much analysis I would be surprised if it ended in a sprint.0

Roglic wins great stage!0

Roglic takes a good win, after an entertaining stage which was completely ruined by the lack of cameras with 1km to go.0
-
Meh.
Kruijswijk's domi Roglic takes the sprint.
Lucky he's not really trying."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Swiss precision? Shocking.

Bit dull and damp in Romandie - both weather and the race, and not enhanced by CK.
Kung takes the cheese a minute plus ahead of the peleton, led by Bennett and Colbreli.0 -

Not the first time that Kung has won solo in wet conditions, either. In fact it’s the norm for him.
I forgot today's map and profile, so here is tomorrow's in advance.

David Gaudu is really starting to come into his own.
Hard to believe he is still only 22, having been around the top level for 3 years.
Won l'Avenir at 18 too. Whether he will reach his full potential while riding for Grupama is debatable.
If he rode for Ineos, the Sky would be the limit. :P"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Ffs, scrap this, the only real GC stage in the race.
Instead, due to some poor weather, they give us this.
