    off to sailing club. will take day from there. glad i'm not riding to day as its lovely & sunny with force 2. would have been hideous.

    Fook! That was quick. So sorry to hear that Spinner. I hope she didn’t suffer at the end.
    Just dropped the lad at the station, he’s going to meet a couple of his uni mates after yesterday’s news. Poor lad is all at sea, not much I can do other than being supportive. Glad he’s here for another week at least.

    Thank you all, appreciate the thoughts.

    Way too fast indeed. From "I don't feel so good, maybe I should see a GP?" to a midnight phone call from the hospital to suggest I get my ar$e in there *now* was 18 days.

    Friday we had pizza lunch and good coffee in the autumn sunshine. Saturday night a family dinner out. Two near perfect memories.
