Just dropped the lad at the station, he’s going to meet a couple of his uni mates after yesterday’s news. Poor lad is all at sea, not much I can do other than being supportive. Glad he’s here for another week at least.0 -

Way too fast indeed. From "I don't feel so good, maybe I should see a GP?" to a midnight phone call from the hospital to suggest I get my ar$e in there *now* was 18 days.
Friday we had pizza lunch and good coffee in the autumn sunshine. Saturday night a family dinner out. Two near perfect memories.
