hi,im looking for a new road bike up to around £1000 mark.its just for general riding but hill friendly would help.ive seen the wilier gtr 105 for £999 which i like the look of.any advice would be really helpful .thanks

Nothing wrong with the Wilier. Hired one over in the Alps and thought it was a decent bike.0

Check out the planet X bikes too. You can get an ultegra for not much more than a grand.0

It's pretty shocking how much prices have gone up since buying my Cube in May 2017, but also, it's a bit late to be have a wide choice of end of season bargains.

I'd have either the Willier or the Merida.
I have 105 (5800) on my winter bike and Ultegra (6800) on my summer bike and there's not much in it TBH.0 -

I will always recommend the specialized allez range as the frame is fantastic.
