Fox DPX2 rebound damping

I’ve just purchased a new bike that has came fitted with a fox DPX2 shock. I’ve been playing with the rebound damping but have noticed not much difference from fully open (fast) to fully closed (slow).
Has anyone else Noticed this?

I noticed the lack of variation when I was testing the shock but compressing it whilst stationary. (Pushing down on the seat fast)0 -
The best test is to ride it, but for a static test, wind the rebound dial all the way one way and then do the push test. Then wind it all the other way and repeat. If you can't tell the difference then, there is something wrong with it.0
