difference cranks

Hi all, is anybody able to tell me if a Shimano dura ace di 9100 crankset is interchangeable with a dura ace di 9000 crankset. The only difference I can see is that the newer 9100 crankset has its inner ring 0.04 mm closer to the centreline of the frame. The reason I wish to make a swop is that my current cranks are 170mm and I believe that I require 165mm and that the 9000 series are now difficult to get hold of. Thanks.
