Early start for a long run testing out some of the next races trails.

Then suited and booted ready for the joys of hospitality - it will be the wife’s first ever time watching football, I bet she doesn’t make it outside for the 2nd half

Morning, a bit milder with less wind, dog already walked, club ride at 8:30 followed by an afternoon of watching the cycling on Eurosport
    Have a good weekend

    Morning
Sun's out here now but still a bit of a nip in the air.
Time trial this afternoon, knees aren't feeling up to it.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start was had, off to the opticians shortly, what fun. A neighbour is giving me an old road bike that has been left languishing, a Giant I believe. Might be worth having and if not it can go on the bay of shite.
Lovely and sunny out, unfortunately this means the EPO wants me to tidy the garden.

Getting on with admin stuff mainly, forgot how much there was. At least the weather is good and the footy is back this weekend.

As I can't PM Sungod, I thought I'd casually mention on here that he won the caption comp.

Chilly start to the day, a fresh breeze indeed, but soon fined up nicely. Trip to the hardware to get painting stuff, then a nap in the sun in a deckchair.

That aside, i've been collecting sticks out in the sticks with Shorty. We had to stop and get a BLT and coffee cake and I had to get another coffee. Terrible really.

Started chilly but the sun has popped out.

    Laters.

What a lovely spring day. Had the 4yo twins helping me plant potatoes while explaining the growing process. Almost enough to take one's mind off the political f-wittery plaguing us all.

We planted spuds last week 'Loon.
Next week, they are planting runner beans. Not my 'cup of tea' but they grow quick and the girls can see the progress within a short period of time.

I've got other Oxo, if you want them.

    Yeah, you want them.

Lad’s back from uni, seems to have sprained his ankle jumping out of a tree.
Cleaned up the bike I was given, needs cables, a chain and bar tape at least but think I can get it working ok. It’s a Giant CFR of some sort, has Sachs mech’s and ergo type shifters. Has Campag rims on Shimano 600 hubs, not sure that’s allowed.

Just a tree? My ex fell of the Lions at Trafalgar square after getting a little bit pie eyed.
I ended up pushing her around the Hammersmith in a wheelchair, back and forth between casualty and x-ray and the plastering room. That tunnel under the building was a brute. Muury de Hammersmith. My god, chemo takes it out of you on the hills.
