Quick question on the Voodoo Marasa

I'm thinking of getting the Voodoo Marasa as a new commuter bike.
All the reviews are pretty good and it looks good bang for your buck.
The wide handlebars are quite quirky, which I like, but the only issue I'm concerned about is whether the bike can be taken in and outside. I have to get the bike through a gate at home and then at work through a few doors and in a lift.
I can do it easily with the bike I have now (standard Raleigh with straight handlebars) but wondered if the Voodoo will be still as easy to manoeuvre and get through doors etc. considering the handlebars are a bit wider.
Just wondered if anyone has this bike and can say if it's OK for this or not? I'd hate it to be a problem and wished I'd bought something else, but I really like the look of this bike!
