GPS Week Number Rollover

Anyone know how or if this will effect Garmins 800's 1000's etc? Will we still be able to upload to Garmin Express and Strava? I've emailed Garmin and am just waiting for a reply.

    I've had a reply from Garmin. It's just a copy of whats in the hyperlink above. They did not answer the questions.

    Interesting. Looks like those made after 2010 should probably be ok... but might not be. The only way to know for sure is to wait and see.

    I think you're right, certainly Garmin are no help.

    They surely should know which units/software combination were built to the latest GPS specifications, but seemingly not.

    Just had another email from Garmin and they have confirmed my 800 will NOT be affected. So I would think that all 1000 and up will be OK to.
