Dura ace comparability with Ultegra
Hi
I have a 1998 bike with a Shimano Ultegra 9 speed group set. The shifters (ST 6501) need replacing and wondering if a 1997 a pair of Dura Ace 7700 shifters will be suitable and easily fitted. Both my existing Ultegra and the potential replacement Dura Ace shifters are 2 x 9 speeds.
Hope this makes sense and hope it is easily answered, because I can find anywhere a definitive answer.
Any advice really appreciated.
