I know 75% of my km are commuting, but by no means all.

Buying a powermeter is like hiring an accountant to tell you you're broke. :D

Spend the cash on other bling.

You have some money to burn and you would like to spend it on shiny bits but don't know what.
Sounds like a recipe for an impulsive purchase which you will regret.

etap. Hmm... My two pence. You have learnt a little bit more about fettling (a mechanical group set) but electronic is yet another step up. You'll have to remember to keep am eye on batteries etc. How about you get back from a commute on a wild wet night and your etap went phut @ 250rpm chasing the No13 bus to Stretoydonham. You're knackered and VN is too far away and all you want to do is spend time with mini H3's, tank up and feet up.

Just get xissed like me. Stuff the numbers and power meter. Just do miles and pints.

Don't kid yourself Oxo - you're not in TLW's league.

    I know I don't need a power meter. I do ok for a fat 45 year old.

    My gears change fine.

I'll spend it on a weekend away for Mrs H3 and me. Or a posh dinner up that London.

Sod the minis. They're coming to Spain at Easter (Though I may not be) and fcuking Florida in the summer. They'll enjoy some time with their grandmother, uncle, aunt and cousins.

Now, the question occupying me this evening is whether I should waste 500 quid on a quarq powermeter. I don't race or tt, and am not intending to. But numbers. This is very definitely a case of head says no, but heart would quite like one.
It's harder to get scr points if you have a power meter.

oman is nice, way prettier than dubai, i've had pineapple there, also coffee and cake
It looked pretty interesting when we came into land there the other week (changing planes). More rugged than I was expecting.
It was really windy that day, not sure if it's always like that being where it is. The staff at the airport sucked.
