Cycling the Blue Ridge (film)

Last fall, I did a 10 day road bike trip in the Appalachian mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a beautiful scenic route that runs through the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia and North Carolina. I’ve put together a little film (36 min) about this wonderful experience, posting here in case anyone is interested. I am Swedish living in England and met up with a Swedish friend at Heathrow for continued travel to Roanoke, VA.

It gets better and better the further south we travel, toward the final destination Cherokee in the Smokey Mountains National Park. It’s a well known biking route but in practice we met few cyclists. This guidebook was very helpful:
