New wheels recommendations

Hi all,
I have a giant tcr advanced 2 (absolutely love it), rode a fair whack of miles last year - get fitter reduce weight etc
Prior to Xmas I set myself a target of losing a further 22lbs to get down to my 'ideal' weight of 11st 7lb - with the reward being a new set of wheels for the summer months for a few more events and hopefully a couple of 100 milers in the bag to boot
Now, I'm only a few lbs off my target and reckon I'll have the remainder shifted by late March - therefore I could meet target and thus reward myself with new wheels for the bike. Main purpose of the wheels would be for something a little lighter
My budget is up to £400 & my shortlist consists of...
Hunt aero
Novatec Jetfly
Zondas
Fulcrum 3's
Which of the above have the greatest 'rep' good build with excellent QC
Or is there anything else??
Cheers
Nearly forgot, my wheels are currently standard PR2's

Fulcrum & Zondas are bomb proof, used to ride them until I turned to handmade exotica. They are both owned by Campag' so I'd just get the ones with the biggest discount.0

Probably isn't worth it with anything on that listI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
Thanks tiesetrotter
Sloppy - not huge gains?0 -
avoid the hunt - over priced and actually not that great. a set of Carbonzone is made of the same bits, built just as well and a whack cheaper.
all you are getting with the hunt are trndy bits of paper in the box and a large price tag.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Thanks for the advice, seems my list (& budget) is potentially a little off the mark perhaps0

set of carbonzones is sub £200 - spend the balance on some nice tubs and you'll have cool wheels that are light, bomb proof, roll really well, make great noises and look well smart.and spare change for pork scratchings.
Farsport tubs as well.
ignore waffle about "exotica" - believing the hype. don't fall for the trap.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

If you are looking for some light and reliable wheels check also some DT swiss with the 240 hub, else save some money and get the fulcrum racing zeros, that i own and they are amazing in everything that ive throw to them, and i am not light, around 85 kg.

Yes - Carbonzone have a shop.
I've used mine for years - racing, training, commuting, mountain climbing & descending - all round. Never had a problem.
I'm using 60s front and back with Conti Sprinter tubs taped on.
Very recommended.
Alternatively, some Selcofs or Planet Xs in the sale they always have on.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Thanks to all so far, certainly some considerations
Also wondered if there was any feedback or love for the DT Swiss PR1600???0 -
I have a Giant TCR Advanced as well - got some Prime RP-38s and they have totally transformed the bike. Perhaps a bit more than your budget but really quite fabulous.0

Thanks all, still researching
Read mixed things on the cero ar30 (flexi)
The RP38s are over my budget
Saw JRA lark light in another thread and they look interesting0 -
How about Zuus Carbon wheels?0
