Bodge job of a rear mudguard fitting
Just went to put my mudguards on after getting away with not having them on all winter however I can't find the bolts! The rear will do for this weekend, the bolt that attaches it to where the rear brake should be (disc brakes) is still attached so I have used that. The two metal struts I have attached with my wheel quick release, everything has tightened up solid and I had to turn the quick release several times before it tightened so it's not near the end of the thread. Is this safe?
The rear mudguard is remarkably sturdy, even without it being attached near the bottom bracket.
