    Only black would match :)

  • Agree, the only match is black, but I think blue will look good

I looked on ebay for gold Hope for ages before settling for orange on my black Dolan... don't understand why they dropped gold and gunsmoke and offer purple instead... who buys them in purple?

If money was no object, then I'd get some Chris King hubs in green, like this...

Which is why I wonder if a contrast colour might work. But then maybe black is the sensible colour to go for.
  • Blue will work just as well as green

I was going to suggest green. What happened to Green? Hope used to do green. Carbon Ti do green as well.

Blue definatley would work and would contrast better. contrast is good.
Red would be fine too. any of the primary colours really.

I was after gold a few years back. Turns out the process of colouring them gold uses some really nasty chemicals and was dropped for that reason.

Go black. You will change the frame at some time and maybe keep the wheels or put them in a second bike. Black will suit any frame colour. I made the mistake of buying red Tune hubs and they didnt suit the next frame.
  • One more question, is the freewheel body alloy or steel?

Default is alloy, but you can choose the steel one instead... I would and I did...
