Hi, has anyone on here had any dealings with or used these bars.
I’ve been looking at various carbon aero flat top bars and these Italian made lovelies look the part. Lightweight and only £89 a set from Planet X.
Cheers

I wouldn't get too excited about them being "Italian made lovelies". Planet X own the Selcof brand so they are basically a generic Chinese open mould with Selcof branding. Nothing hugely wrong with that, as long as you're aware that's what you're paying for. And also that there is a high chance they will cost half that in a couple of months time in the next "sale".

I've been tempted with the ultra carbons which are the same price, will bite if/when they go sub £50.

As above - not 'Italian made' - but likely to be perfectly good bars. I have the sprint bars and they are good quality. The prices will vary from time to time, which can be quite annoying, but worth it of you get them on a deal...

i've been looking at them for ages - price on them doesn't really change a lot and £80 is a lot to speand on Selcof and that "oh, really, is that it?" feeling you get when you open the box.

if you do get some let us know what they are like.

Alternative could be the Wiggle Prime ones.

Those Wiggle Prime ones do looks nice, OK they are a fair chunk more but still, very nice. Do they need to be carbon though? You could pick up slightly more Italian metal ones , weigh a little more but a bit cheaper.

Hi, I bottled it and bought 3T Ergonova bars instead from wiggle.
I got the team stealth carbon for £89.99.
If you get the other Ergonova Ltd or the one with a bit of red on then it’s £100 plus more.
I checked this with Wiggle and they confirmed this.
I’ve already got these bars on another bike and they are super comfortable.

Agreed, I'm debating new bars for new bike, I need to fuel this debate.
