So are my new sram force bits with new cables (same old rival shifters). Clickety click, up, down, one at a time or two cogs at once. Lovely. Seeing as I put it on there, I'm still expecting it to fail catastrophically, but until it does, I'm loving it.

Hunger is consuming me - I must go out and find something to eat.

Cycled in but roadworks with traffic lights were a bit of a pain.

Extra busy this morning dealing with carnage caused by new rules from the French highway robbers (sorry tax service, although what service they provide isn't entirely clear). They seem to have lost their white flag unfortunately. More busy-ness awaits this afternoon so by time I get home I'll be pretty thirsty.

In other news the oil burner goes to a new home on Saturday, thankfully. No more of the devil's fuel for me, although I'm trying to avoid driving Stropteens car in case anyone spots me.

    Best it's ever been!

My efforts on installing a brand new drive train, V68's perfectly round repair of my plastic front wheel.

It's a farking beast. Need a longer stem though. 110mm needs to be 120mm. Stretch out the back more when I'm pushing on.

I think SRAM are taking kidneys in exchange for the full groupset...

V68, can you straighten my plastic wheel too? I would but, well its in the garage you see. Ill give you the keys, an don't worry the alarm only goes off when you move

I would, but it's a bit tricky to do it without moving. I think you'd need to resurrect Paul Daniels for that one.
Busy day at work, that's the downside of taking time off. Nice wobble there and back, remarkably warm. Other than that not much going on.

This I cannot fathom. I have never in all the years of going in and out of hospital, assaulted, threatened or have been abusive towards a member of staff.
There will come a point where an emergency crew does not respond in a way that is conducive to the patient's welfare and that patient will die. Maybe that needs to happen.

Nah because then the emergency crew will get sued by the 'victims' relatives and will put more people off doing the job and they might have to start thinking twice about helping people :(
Give them some sort of spider silk or proton gun to contain the hostiles before helping them.
