If you were going to sell a road bike of half decent quality would you sell it complete or split it and sell the parts?
I guess if you wait until ebay does the £1 max fee thingy its worthwhile? Mind you all the postage and PayPal fees does make a dent in the resale value when selling parts. Last time I sold a bike the guy paid cash so there were no other fees.
What have you done?

I've sold complete bikes through eBay if you're honest about condition, and realistic about your price expectations then it's okay.
Think about this: Would you buy a used bike from eBay? Your thoughts and concerns are the same as the buyers would be.0 -
Would only sell through ebay if its a local buyer so they can see it. I sold one and posted only for the buyer to claim it wasn't described and wanted full refund. Complete pain in the hoop. Get them come see it first or sell through Gumtree0

Almost never worth bothering with splitting into parts, if the bike is complete and roadworthy.
A lot of time to clean every component, take photos, advertise them for very little extra money... when not less
Worth it if it is a very expensive bike with premium parts in excellent condition... Di2 DA, Enve wheels, Colnago C60 frame... that kind of stuffleft the forum March 20230
