Who cleans and maintains cycle paths

The reason I ask is I've started commute to my new work and the cycle paths are awful and the road cycle sections are full of alsorts. I've been riding a few months and there's no way they've had any maintenance

    Log it on fixmystreet.com. Will go to the council and they'll be quick to let you know it's not them if that's the case :)

    I'm not sure, around here they will respond saying it's been sorted with a comment "we'll look into it" and nothing gets done.

    If it's part of numbered cycle route, Sustrans are quite helpful tracking down who is responsible for maintenance.

    I've reported problems with local paths to the council and they're on the ball with fixing problems

    no one thats the problem. The council should but they dont.

    I got a reply saying it's been passed to the neighbourhood team and gave me a reference number
