Disc, Carbon, Ultegra / 105, Full Length Mudguards?

Anyone any recommendations for this spec, so far I am considering a Synapse although fine with racing geometry. Currently replacing my Enigma Etape rim brake and would love to go the Ti route again but don’t feel like dropping the cash required. Not so keen on Alu.

I’d also like something that takes an easily available mudguard not one that’s propieratry to a specific manufacturer.

Just checked and it's available in Cycle Republic so that's an additional 10% off with the Halfords BC discount.

I think they can decline the BC discount if the bike is already discounted. Not sure if they actually do this in reality though.

Thanks for the replies all, managed to pick up a demo ‘18 Synapse Hi Mod Disc, DA with carbon wheels @ Hargreaves at an excellent price.
Total overkill for a winter bike but with global warming the winters seem milder and it’s a 50th birthday gift to myself.

Does that bike allow for rack/mudguards then?

Yes, proper mudguard mounts with a Cannondale bridge supplied for the stays. Won’t be putting a rack on it thou, would likely stick with Ti or steel for that.
