Canyon Ultimate CF SLX

I decided to keep the S-Works as a Sunday best so was on the lookout for a race/training bike having fallen out of love with my Cannondale SS. The Canyon was on my shortlist and I came across a new frameset on ebay before Christmas.

Built it up with a Dura Ace 9100 and a set of 60mm carbon clinchers for racing and Campag Bora One 35mm for day to day duties or hillier races.

Need to get the fit sorted after the winter hibernation and only had a quick 30 miles blast, but was very happy with it

Nice work, looks better with the Boras and would look super with a reduced spacer stack

In my opinion an SLX or SL for that matter does not suit deep rims at all, those 35mm Bora's look great, as does the rest of the bike. Great job.

Thanks everyone. The boras will be its every day wheel, I doubt the deep rims will see much action but I picked them up a decent price and they will be good for racing.

Spacer stack will hopefully reduce a bit when I get the fit sorted

Think the cages are Elite Custom Race Plus. Lovely bike btw

one of the nicest pictures of that frame ive seen. Cranks and quick releases could be tweeked though.
