Best 29er upgrade wheels for up to £400

Hi all, I have a Cube Attention which I cannot afford to upgrade totally, so I'll start with wheels.
29er up to £400, for general trail riding/XC racing. Just looking to lighten the load really!

What tyres are on the wheels and are you running tubeless?

Both these will save weight before thinking about spending on new wheels.

Hunt are good if you want off the shelf wheels. For that money if you built the wheels yourself you could get Hope Pro4 or DTSwiss 350 hubs with some decent Dt Swiss rims I’d have thought, plus double butted spokes. I think my xm481 rims / Dt db spokes / Hope Pro4’s came to about £350 in parts and I built them.
Add say £30 for Dt Swiss tape and valves.
