    Absolutely. Always. Same as when I am in the car, I always thank people who let me out, etc.
    It's just a hill. Get over it.

    Always. A wave of thanks may be appreciated. If I have to have a discussion with a motorist I try to stay calm and offer reasoned debate. having a face off with an amped up thug and/or his mates is not going to end well for me.
