    Narrow Wide chain rings are not a lot of money, you can pick them up relatively cheaply on popular auction sites or from another popular site called what a genie would give you 3 of. And before I get shot down in flames about you get what you pay for etc. Spending £12 on a cheap and cheerful one and see if this stops the chain drop, then go more expensive.

    I've used J&L from fleabay with no issues (MTB and a crosser ring on my commuter), currently using a Clarkes direct mount on my X0 which cost a princely £15.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
