Garmin 510 upload problem. Help needed

Had my trusty 510 a few years now. It won't upload my ride today. I've turned the Bluetooth on and off on the 510 and my tablet. Have disconnected and reconnected several times. Removed from Garmin connect and then reinstated the device. It syncs fine.
It says I am connected but no data to upload yet when I look on the 510 all the ride info is there.
Am I missing a trick or is my 510 knackered?

    Connect your garmin to a pc then manually upload the file to garmin connect. (You may need to save the file to desktop first).

    See if Garmin Connect app needs updating.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Did it manually via usb as suggested. Opened garmin connect website on the laptop and logged in, then uploaded activity .
