Hi Guys and Girls,

I am new to the world MTB'ing but have owned several road bikes over the years. Long story short, I had a road bike stolen and ended up with "wheelies" vouchers at the end of the summer.

They don"t stock the BMC brand (which was stolen) so i though this would be a good opportunity to get a MTB.

What are the views on the above? I will be riding a wide variety of terrain. I'm 5'11" 85kg.

Good or Bad, worth the money at £1399?

Thanks in advance

An OK spec 29er XC style bike.
Forks are decent enough but not sparkling at the price point, shocked to see NX at this price I'd expext GX, likewise SLX instead of Deore brakes, nothing wrong with either but a bit chunky for something that wants to be a flyweight race style bike.
I think the Cannondale Trail 1 offers more (as a 29er XC bike) for the same money

Or for something a little more trail orientated there is the Onza although it looses a little elsewhere

Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
