Hi
I have never checked in with a bike before so I want to know what the general procedure is?
1)Do I just walk up to the the desk and check in my baggage as if it was a normal suitcase or do I need to queue up in a specific oversized queue?
2)I might have a problem with the weight limit because my bike weighs 17kg (18.5" 650B) and the evoc bag weight 9kg
I only have 23kg allowance which I specifically purchased since you dont get bagguage when flying virgin atlantic ecommony light. So is there a lighter bag someone can recommend?

ring up and book excess baggage up to 32kg (legal max), MUCH cheaper doing in advance than at the airport. Failing that, get a bike box from your lbs and pad it out
you check in as normal, then they tell you to go to oversize baggage drop off. then at the other end there will be a special carousel where it will be dropped offSanta Cruz 5010C
