My saddle has split. What’s a good replacement? This was a tad too bony for me.

Recommendations don't mean much, unfortunately, because nobody else has your ar5e. The only way is to try a few..

Can’t believe I actually looked up ar5e saddles on google. Anyway, yes, I know there are many variables but I just ordered a selle italia C2 anyway, hopefully will be better than what I’ve got currently :)

You just spent £50 on a saddle when you have no idea whether it will suit you or not? I've got some magic beans for sale, if you're interested...

    Hi Imposter,

Thank you, you might be right, and I’m not much of an expert on these things. Maybe it was a bit impetuous but I hope it will be fine. Judging by feedback it will be an improvement on what I had, which had to be replaced anyway. But it might not be the most suitable. I really laughed at your magic beans comment! Cheers! Viz.
  • I think you may have too much disposable Vizzage, I would have put some tape on the split!

I recently bought prologo scratch 2 pass https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cy/en/prologo-scratch-2-pas-tirox-saddle/rp-prod127903 after that i went to the shop, they measure my but so i got the size, then they have a software from the company that they give the data and they suggest you the correct saddle. They gave me one to test it, before to buy it, and it was great decision. Thats the correct procedure to chose a saddle. Not just buying something random.

That old saddle looks a bit like the charge spoon ? I'd have tried that one out. Cheap and a lot of people like it.

    Good luck with your purchase.
