Hi,
Am i right in thinking this bottom bracket lets me use a 3d+ crankset on any bsa (ie normally a shimano/sram 24mm axle) bottom bracket?
how does this wizardry work?
cheers

You're right. It lets you put Rotor's 30mm dia spindle into a BSA BB shell. The key here is that a Rotor 3d+ (or other similar Rotor crankset) with 30mm spindle is wider than a BB30 crankset (which you'd never fit into a BSA BB shell - not with current available components anyway).
The Rotor solution is like an oversized HTII. I have this BB plus Rotor 3D30 crankset in my Condor Italia RC (BSA BB shell).Ben

If you have a cable guide screwed to the underside of your BB make sure the bolt does not fowl the bigger crank axle0
