Having never looked at disc wheelsets, I am frankly amazed at the different 'standards' (Centrelock, 6 bolt, QR, bolt thru etc) and thats before one considers axle lengths and widths!

I've just bought a Trek Emonda disc on which I'll almost certainly upgrade the heavy stock Bontrager wheels in a few months.

Does anyone here own an Emonda Disc (2018/2019 model) and can provide some guidance on what will fit? I know it has 12mm thru axles and QR's are fitted currently..... Double dutch to me, but maybe I've answered my own question!
Mavic seem to have most bases covered?

Cheers

Have a look at Hunt wheels. You can spec them for any axle standard - 15mm,12mm, QR - and they sell very affordable axle adaptors so that you can change the mounts over if you change bike. Much favoured in the UK CX world, they are light, look good, are well built.

Very happy with my 4 Seasons, and the customer service has been great (when I ordered my spare adaptors).

Your bike has 100x12mm and 142x12mm tru axles sometimes and confusingly called QR.

Thanks for that. I posted the thread before I actually had the bike home, when I quickly realised the levers were not normal quick release at all, but a thru bolt windy job! At least I know what I have now. Cheers
